The Steelers have signed OLB Keyaron Fox to a 1-year contract.  He played in 10 games for the Chiefs last season and he made 21 tackles.  Fox has now played in 40 games in his NFL career and he has made 83 tackles, defensed 1 pass, had 1 sack and forced 1 fumble.  Signing Fox was nothing more than a depth move that could benefit the special teams units of the Steelers.

The Steelers have signed RB Mewelde Moore to a 3-year, $4.95 million dollar contract.  Moore played in 12 games last season for the Vikings and he carried the ball 20 times for 113 yards (5.7 ypc) and he also caught 6 passes for 48 yards (8.0 avg).  He has now played in 54 games in his NFL career and he has carried the ball 264 times for 1,285 yards (4.9 ypc) with 1 TD run.  He also has caught 116 passes for 1,093 yards (9.4 avg) with 3 TD grabs.  Moore will likely settle in as the #3 RB for the Steelers behind Willie Parker and Najeh Davenport.

Moore also could win a job as a returner for the Steelers.  He returned 13 punts last season for 130 yards (10.0 avg) and 1 kickoff for 20 yards.  Moore has returned 74 punts in his NFL career for 768 yards (10.4 avg) with 2 TD returns.  He has also returned 26 kickoffs for 503 yards (19.3 avg).
