The Steelers have re-signed offensive tackle Max Starks to a 1-year contract.  He started all 14 games that he played in last season.  The 6′7″, 337 pound tackle has started 30 games in his last two seasons and he will be adding to that total this year.  He’s a pretty good offensive lineman so it was smart for the Steelers to keep him.

In a surprising move the Steelers have re-signed third string QB Brian St. Pierre to a 1-year contract.  In his 4 year career, St. Pierre has thrown 1 incomplete pass.  To put it simply, he’s a player the Steelers hope they never have to use in a game.

The Steelers have signed DT/NT Nick Eason.  He played in 13 games for the Cleveland Browns last season and he made 23 tackles, defensed 2 passes and forced a fumble.  This was a nice pickup for the Steelers for depth reasons.

I am good friends with the steelers new offensive coordinator

 Bruce Arians. When i was discussing with him on sunday on what

the steelers were going to do on draft day he told me that right now

they have there eyes set on four guys in the first round. He said that

right now it looks like they are going to trade down in the draft to get

Adrian Peterson Running Back from oklahoma. They also are looking

at Levi Brown OT from Penn State, and Paul Posluszny OLB Penn State.

Also they are looking at Jon Beason OLB from Miami.

He also said that right now it deffinetly looks like the

steelers are leaning on Adrian Peterson. He said that kevin colbert

said that he will do what ever he can to get him.

So thats the word i got from the front office.
