Afraid in Chicago

As long as Batch is at QB, I fear we have no chance at all. I’ve been a Steeler Fan for 60 years. You still can’t win without a quarterback,. Batch ain’t it.

You’re right, Charlie Batch is a stiff. I remember when he was with the Lions and teams were lining up 8 men in the box to stop Barry Sanders and Batch still couldn’t throw well.

I’m no Batch fan but all he did last night was manage the game o.k. He did just enough for the Steelers to win. If he has to play next week he has to do just the same as last night and not try to do to much and we should win again.

Batch played well last night, and it really surprised me for one.

I’m tired of supposed steelers fans being down on Charlie. He is 3-0 as a starter for the steelers.
What sort of recievers did the lions have, and how many of those 8 men in the box did teams send against him, ravenhater once they saw it was a pass?

Charlie is OK managiong the team for one or two games. He sure as hell can’t win a game by himswelf like Big Ben can. Without the guys around him, he’d just be another water boy passing through. I’ve seen too many of those in 60 years.

You got it Raven. And before that way back when we owned the celler there were a lot more. That’s why I hate to see anything happen to these current players. The good old days only go back as far as Bradshaw with us.
