Marvin Philip (6, C)
The thing that Philip did best at California U. was get to the second level of the defense. Whether he was pulling, trapping or just getting off the ball quickly. He needs quickness to cover up for his lack of bulk and probably will never be more than a back-up. Special teams is where he’ll probably earn his paycheck.
